Traditional Funeral and Burial Services
Wade Funeral Home is proud to be firmly rooted in the traditional African-American Funeral tradition. We are also happy to work with you to make the ceremony a special tribute to the life of your loved one. Although we are able to create a more traditional ceremony, we are especially interested in making sure the ceremony acknowledges the unique life of your loved one. We will work with you to select the music, readings and hymns that best memorialize the life of your loved one as well as make arrangements for a decorative theme, special casket selections and favorite non-traditional music selections. Our chapels can accommodate up to 356 guests in our larger chapel and 175 in our smaller chapel. Additionally, we will gladly assist you in planning the service at your family's church if preferred. We will also provide transportation for the immediate family to the burial site and perform a memorable ceremony at gravesite.

Traditional Funeral and Cremations Services
Wade Funeral Home will gladly provide a full funeral service at your request, even in the event of cremation. Please see the Understanding Cremation section of this website for more information. Special Traditional/Cultural/Religious Services
Wade Funeral Home acknowledges and celebrates the diverse cultures and traditions that make up the African-American community. In acknowledging the wide range of beliefs, rituals and ceremonies, Wade is glad to work with you to provide a specialized funeral service for your loved one that is in alignment with their faith. There is no request that will not be met.

Direct Cremations and Memorial Services
If you and your family have chosen to forego a traditional Funeral Service for a loved one that is to be cremated, Wade will gladly assist you in planning a meaningful memorial service in one of our chapels.

Worldwide Shipping
In the event that your loved one passes away from home, Wade is happy to provide careful handling and shipping of your loved one's remains. We work closely with carrier representatives in the city of origin to insure a safe and quick return home for your loved one.

A Wide Range of Care Programs
Wade provides a number of additional Care Programs, including Pre-need, AfterCare, and Bereavement Support.
